That's right. I'm a math nerd.....ish. And today's Pi Day. I'd only be happier if there was actual pie.

So yeah. Things have been pretty good lately, just busy. I would've liked to post some randomness sooner, but I kind of had a whole mini project thing for history that I had to do yesterday. It was interesting though, and I got to utilize my pro PowerPoint skills obtained from meeting my comp literacy requirement class. (week-long summer RB class not offered at Poway, FTW.) So yeah. Ask me anything about Sacco and Vanzetti and I can (most likely) answer. I would have, however, preferred to utilize my supa-awesome MS Paint skills for the endeavor.

hmm....Ah! In personal news that I haven't updated upon since my first post, I HAVE HAIR. Yep. I measured, and I'm just at 10 inches. Which means I could finally donate it if I wanted to have a buzz cut.........which I'm okay with. xD But I'll do this long hair thing for now, the back is the longest it's ever been since I enrolled in middle school. I have proof of this, in the form of my God-awful, terrifying 6th grade ID picture, which I've kept purely for the purpose of scaring people with.

In celebration of this feat, I have found a video thing for your listening/viewing pleasure. That means listen to it. It's a Harry Potter fanvid thing too, it's amazing.

And so yeah. I have a concert tonight, at a different high school....so that means bus trip!! Woohoo!! This is actually my second favorite concert we do, because of that trip. My absolute fave is the last one of the year--we get to play a "popular" piece. Last year that was a medley from Spiderman 1 (different from the other themes, contrary to my friend's belief...the arrangement is amazing though, probably on YouTube somewhere, check it out.), conducted by a Senior. Said senior can also be viewed if one Youtubes "EZPZ Poway tribute" or something along those lines. Speaking of tribute....

Another friend of mine (whose birthday happens to be today, along with Billy Crystal's and Einstein's) and I are making a Tenacious D-parodied Tribute to our AP US History class. "The Greatest Semester Event in the World." I'm learning the guitar tabs and everything, hopefully we can perform it at the end of the year or something, I've already modified the lyrics. ;D

And now I'm running out of things to talk about...OH! A continuation about hair. I still have a short hair mentality, probably stemmed from having a pixie cut for several years. Sometimes, I'll wake up and think it might be cool to try to spike my hair like I used to, before remembering that it was kind of a hard feat when I had less than 4 inches of my Mohawk-like 'do. HOWEVER COMMA (as my soccer coach would say), I have already committed myself to try to resurrect the now almost foot-long grown out Mohawk for St. Patrick's Day. If anything remotely resembling...uhm.....not what my hair usually looks like....comes of it, I will take pictures and post them. I can't promise anything though..... >.>

hmm...on an even more random note, I'm finding myself playing guitar and singing more often than I have in a while. Beats me as to why, but it's fun. My fingers always smell like steel after playing.....that part is kind of gross......but yeah. My music tastes have been expanding, and I'm listening to everything from the August Rush soundtrack (of which the movie is out, GO SEE IT!!!) to a variety of screamo my friend Big MT (of "The Ongoing Goings-on," a particularly schmexy blog) gave to me. I'm liking it more and more. ;D

*thoughts stray off again* The new Flogging Molly CD is great too, it's called "Float." Yay, amazing Irish punk rock/folk!

And yeah. I've run out of ideas to blather on about. I'll post again when I have those other Paint masterpieces and possibly pictures of my hair. ^^
