*Hastily turns off The Clash's "I'm so Bored with the USA"*

So...another post! Yay.

Lots of stuff to update on...let's see....I'll start on Sunday. Over the weekend (starting on Saturday), a friend of mine threw a birthday party, in which we went to one of the AWESOMEST (so awesome it's beyond proper grammar) 60's themed diners I've ever been to, where waitresses had big hair, yelled boistrously and rudely to anyone in their way, and threw straws and Bazooka gum at us. When we arrived back at the house, we did presents, cake (double layer chocolate cheesecake--YUM!!), and then watched Tristin and Isolde (aka "Tristin Is Old"), in which myself and at least four of my friends sat in a corner and made snide remarks throughout the duration of the film, minus the last half hour, which we didn't see...it was a sleepover, so the next day we were going to go down to a pool and the beach. It was loads of fun...until I got thrashed with a wave so the hand I had used to plug my nose swept across my nose and my nail cut right beneath it. It looks pretty gruesome.......Anyway. That, and it came to a point that every time I turned around, people winced in pity. I found that I had been pretty severely sunburnt, from my shoulders to my knees. And, lucky me, I'm currently outside for four hours on weekdays (the burn caused a stir in my friends with me during those four hours). That was rather embarrassing, but now it's faded reasonably well. Needess to say, however, sunburn red is now one of my least favorite colors.

Things picked up on Monday, however, when I went by my favorite shoe store and bought these awesome black leather Mary Janes with a pink cat on the toe by some company called Anarchic. They're teh wootzor...

A few things happened on Tuesday...first, I was at a weight room with some peers, where we were all throwing a large, at least 10 pound medicine ball around. The first round I played...the first throw to me, I got hit in the face, causing a fat lip that remained swollen for only an hour or two. Despite this short-lived battle wound, I think it's pretty evident throughout this entry that luck is indeed on my side...(sarcasm, my dear readers...)
I later went to work for an hour at a friend's house (the same who threw the party this weekend), because I help her mom make these traditional Italian wedding favors called Bombonieres (bom-bon-yers/yehres). Then we went to Starbucks and then to see Disney Pixar's Ratatouille, where I saw my orchestra conductor leaving the theater (that was a surprise...quite funny though...).

Alrighty. Movie review for Ratatouille: It was very, very well done. The animation's so advanced, the plot is one that is reasonably followable for young children and yet it remains entertaining for adults as well. The music has a French flair with a cute quirk that pairs wonderfully with that of the synopsis of the movie itself. The short animation feature I now look forward to seeing in all Pixar films was a blast as well; the focus was on a small alien in an abduction test, comparable to a teenager's driving test they aren't ready for. I'll leave it at that. Anyway. Go and see Ratatouille! C'est magnifique!! (that right there is not bad for one who speaks Spanish, my friends... xD )

And yeah. There's my life's update for you all. Happy Independence Day!!
