So...as I promised, here's the review. :)
The attached picture (as long as it uploaded right this time... :/Edit: that was about 15 tries ago... x( ) reads "You will lose everything"...well, it's definitely worth losing whatever price it costs at your theater to see Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, releasing tomorrow. I, like thousands of others across the globe, am an avid reader of the Harry Potter book series, and thus believe I have a higher expectation of the cast and crew of these movies than one who has not picked up this rather large volume. However, one must obviously keep in mind that an 800-plus page novel will not transfer fully into a cinematic form well; we'd be in the theater for hours, if not days. What was done with it, though, was spectacular.
While there were some inconsistencies between the movies--as a result from varying directors throughout the film series' course, no doubt--this was not a serious issue. On the plot, book readers will most likely fill some vague chunks of information in for themselves, as I have (despite it being years since I've actually read Order of the Phoenix), those who haven't read this volume will be a bit lost; but please don't let that stop you. There is so much more to be enjoyed, things all come together in the end; if not, a friend of mine who had brought me to see the movie, who hasn't read the latest in the series for various reasons, was motivated to pick it up again. Perhaps it will for other non-readers as well. ;) It is overall very followable and very enjoyable. Every scene is magnificent, and you truly feel connected to Daniel, Emma, and Rupert, as they have grown up before our eyes and kept our attention rapt these last 6-7 years.
Marauder fans won't be disappointed as well; there is a choice tidbit of Professor Snape's past that will give all fans of Mr.s Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs, as well as poor "Snivellous" himself, a little fangirly thrill.
Overall, this is a magnificent show I highly recommend for any and all fans of Harry and his friends.
Daredevil rocks too; I know this is old, but I just saw it for the first time on FX not too long ago. ;)
Anyway...happy...viewing...? Eh, I dunno....

Currently reading: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (and practically counting the days till Deathly Hallows! xD )
Currently listening to: A playlist consisting of The Raconteurs' "Steady, As She Goes", Rammstein's "Ohne Dich", The White Stripes' "Blue Orchid", Yiruma's "River Flows in You" and "Kiss the Rain", William Joseph's "Within", and a remix of Imogen Heap's "Hide and Seek". ;) Just thought I'd let y'all know...

Hullo deary,
First of all it's the end of October. August is long gone and you should have much to write about with the Witch Fire. Secondly, why are you an accountant. Thirdly, I'll be home today (yes! I'm finally leaving L.A.).
Call you,
Ems
