^-- one of my happy songs from Coldplay's album Viva la Vida. Pure amazingness.
haha...so, a lot of schtuff has happened in the last......month. o.o It's been longer than I thought...man. xD No wonder my friend was pressuring me to update...so, last time, I was going to go to Comic Con. It was awesome. Extremely awesome. I went on Thursday and dressed as the Joker, and while I didn't go to the insane Twilight movie panel (the line completely filled a courtyard), there was a lot to look at and do. I was exhausted at the end of the day, I don't know how one of the guys with us survived the entire weekend there...anyway. My costume was very popular, and people were taking pictures left and right....some of them not even asking for one. xD I'll try to post some copies or something on here maybe, it seems most people have seen them on Facebook already. I even made it onto someone's YouTube slideshow! That was pretty cool...
hmm....since then, I've just spent a lot of time with my friends and especially, as you guys know, with my boyfriend, who is also one of my best friends. ^^ Overall, I think this summer has been the best I've had, ever. I got to do a lot of things I never have before, I got to see my friends a lot more than I think I usually do, and getting back together with my boyfriend was definitely not a downer, either. ;D Of course, because of my superior lack of time judgement skills, I had to rush my summer assignments, and I'm still not done with the written part of driver's ed. Plus side, I think this year is going to be epic. My two serious AP classes are with the best teachers on campus, and my other classes are some pretty interesting electives. I'm still worried about the ominous senior project, though....hopefully it won't be as bad as I think. o_o
What else...? ooh! Slipknot's newest album, "All Hope is Gone," is releasing this coming Tuesday, the 26th. I'm pretty excited. Especially because their single's music video scared the crap out of this group of Jonas Brothers fans on an episode of FNMtv.
As far as other media news goes, over the summer I saw Wall E, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Mamma Mia!, Batman: The Dark Knight, Tropic Thunder, Step Brothers, The Rocker......and I completely forget if there are any others. This year was AMAZING for movies, though. All of them are great, for what they were. That statement kind of applies to Step Brothers mostly, which was really funny but kind of crude.....and a pretty strong R. My boyfriend and I were pretty much being each other's censors.....though because I was not the movie's target audience, I do believe my eyes were covered far more often than his were....
As far as books go, .........mleh. I'm still reading Stephenie Meyer's Breaking Dawn, and it's....less than I expected. Too abortion-preachy for my taste. Which is sad; I enjoyed the previous books in her series, though I'm not such a raving fangirl as I used to be. I'm still seeing the movie in November, thanks to the "Half Blood Prince" premiere's heinous move to June or July '09 (which I heard they did because not so many competing movies will be out then....like they really need the exra millions...), though I don't know if I should be worried about its quality. Fantasy movies (*cough* Eragon *cough*) haven't exactly played it close to the book, which can be VERY dangerous for Summit Entertainment (who just released Fly Me to the Moon.....I hope this doesn't reflect the company's overall taste), if they end up with an army of angry Twilight tweens out for blood. .....no pun intended.
So yeah. My life has been pretty amazing lately, despite the summer assignment/senior project worries. Yay~ ;D
until next post!

Senior Project's not so bad. Just don't procrastinate, don't BS, and you'll be fine. :D
I love that you're loving Flanny and Graber. They made senior year a little better for me.
I hope I get to see you soon.
Glad that you're having a nice summer! I saw pictures of lots of people dressed up as the joker for comic con. I wonder if I saw you!
I took my younger sister and her friend out to see stepbrothers... and really wished I hadn't afterwards!
:O you little copycat. putting psychosocial's chorus at the end of your blog post. :D slipknot made a smart move, though: they released one of the worst (or my least favorite, anyway) songs on their album first. you should see the CD, though, not just the music, but the cover, the book, and the art. it's amazing. O_O
