Somebody's Broken Heart Becomes Your Favorite Song

I love that line. From "Funny the Way it Is," the first DMB song I heard.

Wow, it's been a while since I've last updated....time for recap.

The end of the year wasn't nearly as sentimental as I thought it would be. The drama banquet was pretty fun, full of surprises. I don't understand that teacher sometimes, hahaha. But I never cried once; contemplating where I am in life, I feel like I'm ready for the change to come, though I hate the thought of leaving behind everything I love about my life these past 4 years. I'm so glad to be rid of some things about it, at the same time. The people and issues I will never have to face again--that part is so liberating, though it hasn't quite hit me that it's over. It's a gradual feeling, I suppose.

The Disneyland/end of the year orchestra concerts were amazing, we did so well. Spending the entire day at Disneyland (and seeing the shady backstage) wasn't a downer either, really, haha.

My presentation for Miss Saigon went very well too, I was surprised. I'm not the best public speaker by any stretch, but I got an A. I actually went over the time limit too, which was surprising, I was worried I wouldn't have enough to say.

I've seen a couple movies recently, including Up and Angels and Demons. Both were very good, I recommend you see them. I'm also planning to see Night at the Museum 2 this week; I've heard pretty good reviews about that one too.

In other news, what feels to be the biggest change in my life recently, I've begun a relationship, actually with the guy I asked to prom. We've been dating since around the time of my last post, and have been official a little over a week now, though it feels like longer to both of us. He's a great guy; really nice, unselfish, dependable, and we have very similar senses of humor, mannerisms, and tastes in things. We've been through a lot of tough times together a while ago, and I think helping each other through them has made us a lot stronger. Things couldn't be better so far; I'd like to see things continue on this note. :)

I have a feeling this summer will be the best yet.

Luv!
